I went to Kanha again in the last week of May. I saw lots of animals like the elephant, Barking deer, Spotted deer, King Vulture, Peacock, Wild boar, Bison (Indian Gava), Barasingas and the most eagerly-awaited "Tiger".
Madhya Pradesh is in the heart of India. It is blessed with thick green forests and a great variety of wildlife. Kanha National Park is famous for tigers. The park's flora and fauna has given Kanha its deserved reputation for being one of the finest and best administered national parks in Asia, an irresistible attraction for all wildlife lovers and a true haven for its animal and avian population. You can see the tigers from a very close range and it feels as if you are living with them.
This time I stayed at Dormitory of MP tourism which is located at Kisli which is close by Final Gate for Jungle Safari and inside 4km from main Jungle.
This is the territory of Leopard (one of my friend Ashish V has stayed at same place in Jan 2006 and he got chance to see that dotted animal for fraction of second while they moving towards the Canteen).
I share some photographs that I had taken at the Kanha National Park. You can view my Gallery by clicking on this link:
